The Abdelmalek Essaadi University (UAE) is made up of 13 institutions dispatched at three sites: 6 in Tangier, 6 in Tetouan and 1 in Larache. The UAE counts more than 86,000 students, 950 teacher-researchers and 560 administrative staff and technicians and offers a completely structured training on the LMD pedagogical architecture (3- 5-8). The teaching covers the 4 disciplinary fields (Science and Technology, Humanities and Arts, Law Economics and Management, Medical Sciences) and is based on a modular and semi-annual system. In 2016-2017, 197 courses are open to students, including 82 degree courses (bac + 3) and 112 master courses (bac + 5).
In order to overcome the challenge of geographical dispersion, the continuous increase of Bachelor’s degree and the high demand for training for enterprises and organisms staffs settled in the region, the UAE offer, in addition to classical courses, e-learning solutions and develop projects to strengthen existing solutions and develop new ones in all fields in general and in the field of engineering sciences in particular.
The international cooperation is one of strategic axes of UAE development. It has thus been able to forge privileged relations with several European and Mediterranean universities. The UAE has participated in more than 10 Erasmus Mundus projects (Actions 2 and 3), more than 30 Tempus projects and currently involved in 15 Erasmus + KA107 projects.
